About Me
I am a co-founder of Optimum Sports Performance LLC and co-host of the Reality Based Fitness Podcast with my friend and colleague Keats Snideman. Most recently, Keats and I joined forces to open a training facility located at 2009 E. 5th Street, Suite 12 in Tempe, AZ.
I hold a Masters Degree in Exercise Science, and I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and a USA Weightlifting-Certified Club Coach.
I am also a licensed massage therapist in the State of Arizona. I specialize in clinical, therapeutic and sports massage and I’m certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) for the Upper Extremity.
My professional experience working with a diverse clientele ranges from training for general health, to rehabilitation, to athletes who want to take their abilities to the next level. Prior to founding Optimum Sports Performance, I was a top-level fitness and human performance coach in New York City, where I also presented seminars and clinics for fitness professionals, covering topics such as program design, periodization and assessments. I have served as a strength and conditioning consultant for various athletes of all ages and status.
